Who are we?
The Peak Foundation, Inc. is a charitable foundation that is affiliated with Pinnacle Construction Group, LLC of Urbandale, Iowa. 

What is our purpose?
The purpose of the foundation is to be a conduit to give money back to the communities for which we work and live in. Pinnacle Construction Group has committed to give 2.5% of its annual profits to the Peak Foundation. In addition, the foundation is funded through donations and multiple fundraisers that are held throughout each year.

what organizations do we support?
Our primary focus is organizations which have Education and/or Human Service priorities.

Decision making process regarding grant recipients
The Peak Foundation Committee meets one time per quarter to review the Grant Applications that have been received. We then determine who shall receive these grants based on the applications received.

Expenses
The Peak Foundation has no administrative financial burden. Any time that goes towards the foundation are donated by employees of Pinnacle Construction Group. 

Reserve
It is the intent of our foundation to always retain a minimum reserve of $5,000. It is our goal to give away all proceeds above this reserve to grant applicants.

Organizations that typically do not receive grants from our foundation:
Athletes or athletic organizations
Endowments or memorials
Individual K12 schools
Fraternal Organizations
Private foundations
Veterans Groups
Individuals
Political parties, campaigns or partisan political groups
Tax supported city, county or state organizations
Trade, industry and/or professional associations
United Way
Religious organizations/groups
Hospital or health facility fund drives

Grant Cycle Deadlines: 
Applications are due on 3-31, 6-30, 9-30 and 12-31 of each year.
