Pinnacle is Committed to Environmentally Responsible Practice
By embracing new technology and ideas, Pinnacle seeks to promote and integrate environmentally responsible practices in our design, planning, and construction operations. We commit ourselves to reducing waste, conserving energy, and being more environmentally conscious in all that we do.

Two of our initiatives
Construction Debris Recycling: We understand the importance of finding alternative solutions to disposing of our construction debris. We have made a commitment to divert 100% of our debris from the landfill to one of two debris recycling facilities in Des Moines.  We are estimating that we will recycle in excess of 750 tons of construction debris in 2008.

Partnership with MidAmerican Energy: We work in collaboration with MidAmerican Energy to facilitate the Energy Advantage Commercial New Construction Program to help optimize the energy efficiency strategies before construction with new projects. For existing building, we utilize MidAmerican’s Nonresidential Energy Analysis program the promotes in depth energy assessments and implementation of comprehensive energy saving strategies.

Pinnacle’s Employees are Personally Committed, too
Each individual in our office has committed themselves to a more environmentally conscious lifestyle, both at work and home.  From recycling paper products throughout the office, to using recycled paper goods and products whenever possible; from switching to more energy efficient light bulbs to choosing energy conserving appliances, our goal will always be to do our part to reduce waste.
